Preparing for success

Testimonials

Anthony Valenti: Rockwood Summit Class of 2023

Nick has really improved multiple aspects of my soccer and baseball careers. I have now dropped my 60 yard time for baseball from 7.1 to a 6.9 because of Nick's speed training. He helped me learn how to accelerate within my first five steps and showed me how to put more force into the ground when I’m running. Nick was also a big part of helping get my fastball velocity from 82 to 86.

Brooklyn Brady: Cardinal Ritter College Prep Class of 2024

I’ve been doing track/endurance training at The Grind for two years. And without a doubt, I love it. I love how engaged everyone is. It truly is a family based environment. Especially when you have a trainer (Nick) who is devoting all their time to getting to know personally:  your strengths and weaknesses. From just having someone to talk to, or being pushed outside your comfort zone, it’s an amazing experience. I'm always excited to go and feel like it’s something everyone should experience.

Testimonials

Jacob Ridenhour

Coach Niehaus helped me become a more explosive and fast sprinter. His plan for me was to improve the acceleration phase of my running, instead of only a fast turnover. He helped improve my strength in running and in my lifts to help improve my overall speed as a sprinter

Nick Niehaus was a great coach from start to finish and took me to heights I didn’t think I could reach as a runner/hurdler. The minute I met him I knew we’d work well together; he immediately grabs your attention with his willingness to teach, as well as his genuine personality and positive attitude. He taught me the proper mechanics of sprinting, hurdling technique, and how to get the most out of a lifting session to bring explosiveness/power into my sprinting speed. I have nothing but good things to say about Coach Niehaus!
